font of the week: frutiger

[new weekly feature on one of my favorite things: fonts!!!]

Originally designed for the Charles De Gaulle Intl. Airport, Frutiger has been available for public use since 1976 and is the best selling font in the Linotype collection. It’s a popular font for signage and modern ad campaigns…

… and it’s also used, in its various weights, all over Jones Soda bottles. Yum.
