an old new bed
There she is in all her glory! My parents arrived for a weekend visit with this big ‘ol California King sized bed in tow, literally. Mr. M and my Dad got quite the workout carrying the teak sides up the stairs, and quickly assembled it in the master bedroom.
The bed was a wedding present from my brother Mark. We had shown him distressed wood furniture that we liked before, and without any prompt, he created this gorgeous bed for us.

Looking at these photos now wants to make me jump in bed and sleep for ages… and yes it is as comfy as it looks.
