I adore Mr. M will all my heart, but this made the dam overflow. His parents brought out his baby plate/cup out to California for safe keeping with us. How insanely cute is it? Now I completely understand where his love of speed eating originated!

That’s what we’ve got. One orange (rather, “Baked Clay”) painted insert. Mr. M put some hard labor into two coats of paint and we’ve got ourselves a permanent installation of pumpkin goodness. The other inset in the entryroom will be completed tonight… and then things will really start hopping!
Our first “new” table arrived from Pottery Barn! This “Rustic Bench” from Pottery Barn fit our specific needs for the entry room perfectly! It was thin (14″ wide), long (60″) and came in the perfect dark wood color we wanted.

There she is in all her glory! My parents arrived for a weekend visit with this big ‘ol California King sized bed in tow, literally. Mr. M and my Dad got quite the workout carrying the teak sides up the stairs, and quickly assembled it in the master bedroom.
