I’m a sucker for documentaries, which is probably why I adore reality tv, sports and the news. I’m fascinated with real life and how people live it across the globe, and I think it sucks me in more than any script ever could.

Whether you’re in my docu-loving boat or not… if you have the chance, rent/watch Man on Wire. I grabbed it from instant-NetFlix this weekend after it seeing that it won the Academy Award this year, and was instantly transfixed by the amazing story and its primary storyteller, Philippe Petit. It’s about dreams, friendships, and making the impossible look like fun. I think about the image above, and the feelings of shock and awe that I had watching the film… then laugh that it ever happened at all.
