Every now and then I get a message saying how mean and cruel we were to do this to our puppy. I’m always shocked, since she does the exact same thing when we hold her up to the shower to rinse her off from her weekly bath as well. Is that cruel too?

We still giggle every time she does it… I swear she’d do it over a puddle as well. But I swear we’re not being mean at all… really! We just thought this was too cute to not share with the video world.

For what its worth, our Izzy does the same thing when we hold her out over the dock at the lake.

I think it’s hilariously cute! It makes me wonder what’s going through his mind, like “man the water’s warm today, I can hardly feel it!” or “must work on my doggie paddle, sometimes I feel like I’m hardly moving!”

That’s an insane comment to get (that it’s mean). Memphis clearly isn’t distressed or upset or anything of that nature. It’s hilarious that she’s already getting ready to hit the water and SWIM! Super cute!!
