and this is what Christmas day looked like…

When we came down the stairs, this was sitting in front of the fireplace.

2010 - Christmas

2010 - Christmas

“Is this what I’m supposed to do, Dad?”

2010 - Christmas

“I’m still a bit confused? Help me out here? It is 8:00am, you know?”

2010 - Christmas

“Oh! I press this and the balls come out? Nifty!”

2010 - Christmas

Santa Paws visited overnight as well…bringing treats to Boston Terriers around the globe.

And it looks like Santa left Baby M a Boston Terrier toy as well!”

Time to read by the firelight…

… and stare at the lights and rain outside.

2010 - Christmas

2010 - Christmas

I can help open some presents too!

2010 - Christmas

Or… just put them on my head.

2010 - Christmas

2010 - Christmas

This whole present thing was a lot of fun!

2010 - Christmas

But… it’s naptime. I’ll rest a bit while dinner is prepared by all those big people.

2010 - Christmas

Nap’s over! Time to party! Did you see this outfit?

2010 - Christmas

And this headband! Ridiculous!

[…. Dinner and dessert were too much fun to be bothered with taking photos. Thanks mom & dad L and Webb & CM for the wonderful company!]

Then Boxing Day arrives… and conveniently we left one box under the tree. And it’s…. a puppy!

2010 - Christmas

We hope your Christmas was just as merry as ours was!

I just love her blonde hair and she is such a doll in that blue plaid dress. Looks like you guys had a wonderful, happy Christmas day :)

Love her party outfit and headband. So sweet! (and love that it is different than red/green) Looks like you had a great day!

Great photos! It looks like you guys shared a great 1st Christmas together as a family of 3!

Did L love the ball popper? Clara rec’d one from her Uncle and loooved it! She said “wow” for the first time when she played with it the first time :)

Wow, Lena’s getting to be such a big girl already! Time flies….

I can tell I’m a parent, because I saw the first photos and immediately thought “Ooh, a Busy Ball Popper!” Two years ago, I definitely could not have identified a Busy Ball Popper by sight. (Never even seen one in person, but I’ve browsed my share of baby toys on Amazon….)

And finally, I didn’t know that you had a Boston Terrier. Have you ever seen the adorable Boston Terrier items by Cuore on Etsy? I keep putting them in my Favorites folder, then removing them because I have absolutely no connection to the breed and fear it would be weird to have a random stuffie. But they’re so cute! http://www.etsy.com/listing/64424799/lola-the-boston-terrier-cute-wool-felt
