I’m really really glad we have a splash park in our neighborhood park!

It literally means that we can throw on a bathing suit any day of the week, go down the street with our towels in hand…

…and run through splashing water…

…until we’re too cold to move or too tired to splash in one more puddle. (Or… if the clock hits 7pm and the water turns off)

Last year she was just walking and truly toddling through the water features. Now she’s making me promise we go after naps and after school. Oh what a difference a year makes!

Miss L’s favorite word is currently, “OUTSIDE!” We used to think she just liked to go where Memphis went (you know, when she had to go outside), but suddenly it became her favorite place to be. Sitting on the front porch, walking to the mailbox, hanging out with Dad as he grills… outside! Outside! OUTSIDE!

So on Saturday morning, we headed outside… and this is what happened.
