Without the friends (& roommates) that we had in LA, we’ve been “forced” to get Memphis some fancier digs for our trips away. As she did when we went to Tahoe, she went back to the Wag Hotel, a swanky establishment in West Sacramento with 24-hour pick-up/drop-off and pool time.
She got a “paw-de-cure” this time around (good thing too… since I’m so scared of cutting her nails) and came home absolutely exhausted from all of her puppy fun with a little extra fuzz on her tummy as well.

Hi Mrs. Lemon! I’m a WB reader, who followed your latest post to your blog… I’m originally from Sacramento (specifically, Elk Grove) but moved to Los Angeles for college and just got married down here two months ago. I was amused by our similarities, as I recognized the Rose Garden near the capitol from one of your other posts, you talked about the Kate Spade store at Arden Fair, etc. But then you mentioned Wag, and I just had to comment – I used to work there! I worked there summer 2006. It is a great place, and boy did we work hard for the puppies. :)
Enjoy Sacramento – we are contemplating a move back there in the near future. Have you been to Gunther’s on Franklin, near Curtis Park? Best. ice cream. ever. not kidding.
