what color = craft room?

I must admit that I never had any preconceptions about color for the craft room. I just knew that it MUST have color, and that the color would be fun and not highlight the brown carpet.  But soon after I picked up a color sampler of Pottery Barn’s Benjamin Moore paint samples last weekend, I knew I had found the answer!

Sadly, the nearest Benjamin Moore store is 15 miles away, so I took my color wheel to Lowe’s to attempt to match it. Low and behold, I found Valspar‘s Tropical Mist (#5002-7A) which turned out to be an identical match!

I couldn’t resist opening the can and putting a bit on the walls! It’ll definitely take 2 coats to cover up the old paint (and random damage to the walls), but I think I’m going to love it!
