peanut butter jelly time

Peanut Butter jelly time by you.Mr. M’s IM basketball team started up on Sunday… and of course they needed to come up with a uniform of some sort. I passed on the Jiffy Shirts link for him to sort through, and the next day 18 oatmeal and purple shirts arrived. Somehow they were perfect for a team called “Peanut Butter Jelly Time.”

So, with simple ‘manly’ decoration orders in hand, this is what the uniform became. I simply took the famous little banana and made a Dark T-shirt transfer logo for the back of the shirts.

But the shirts needed numbers, so I called upon my freezer paper to help me out.

Step 1: Cut out pieces of freezer paper into 8.5″x11″ sheets to fit in the freezer. Print out design on the “non-waxy” side of the paper

Step 2: Cut out design using an exacto knife.

Step 3: Iron freezer paper stencil onto t-shirt. Iron another sheet of freezer paper behind the design on the reverse side of the stencil.

Step 4: Ink up the shirt and let it dry!

Step 5: Peel off the top stencil. Heat set the ink. Peel off the back stencil.
