real art in bottles
I really adore these balloon vases… and I think I’ve finally figured out why I’m so drawn to them. I was flipping through photos from Europe, and ran across a postcard with my favorite painting from the Van Gogh museum, ‘Glass of Absinthe and a Carafe.’
While the carafe doesn’t match the bottles, they still use light to transform the water into something magical.

Absolutley freaking breathtaking. I’m a sucker for hydrangea in general, but those vases just showcase them soooo well.
