dreaming of summer [stock]
They just released the schedule for summer stock at the California Musical Theatre, and I’m ridiculously happy that two of my favorite shows made it into the mix (Guys & Dolls and Into the Woods). Mr. M has already enjoyed a few of them on Broadway, as you can see from a small stack of his Playbills (and yes I’m ridiculously jealous that he has stacks of them…).
I’m just happy that we have this opportunity to see so many great shows, with great actors & Broadway veterans, in such a short period of time. The other shows that will be presented this summer: Thouroughly Modern Millie, Altar Boyz, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Cats & Man of La Mancha.
Can it be summer already??? Please?

I just came across a stack of these while cleaning out some old boxes. Any suggestions on how to display these or do something productive with them? Thanks!

There are actually playbill binders available…I just saw one at a friend’s house. If you go to playbillstore.com, you can buy them there…they’re a bit pricey, but it’s the best fit that I’ve seen…
