you’re getting to be a habit with me

Last week, I announced that I was going to drag my blog through some tweaks. Despite the hope for some crazy news from some friends, nothing radical is happening to me at that present moment.

Instead, I’ve decided to let my blog help me out a bit more… and perhaps help you out as well? I’ve taken on the challenge of creating a new habit each month… and sticking to that habit each day in the hopes that the habit, will in turn, stick right back. Conventional wisdom (thanks to Dr. Maltz) says that it takes 21 days to establish a habit, so I’ve decided to extend the idea to a month and see where it takes me. I’m scattered by nature in my interests and thoughts, so it’s a refreshing idea to have something to focus on achieving each month amid the chaos of daily life.

So, at the start of each month, I’ll announce my pledged habit and the steps that are a part of it. It could be really simple, or involved with more steps, but either way I’ll post at least 3x/week on my progress. :) It’ll keep me accountable for my actions, and keep the theme running for the month.

Now, here’s the part where you come in. You can either ignore my goal, cheer me on, or jump along and take part in your own way! I can’t promise that they’ll all be spectacular, but maybe one goal will catch your eye, and you’d like to join in on the fun. I’ve realized that I’ve been spurred to action through other blog challenges, so why not just create my own!
