I’ve decided to declare this week “ice cream week” here on the blog… mainly because it’s June, which means it’s officially the “summer” and time to crave icy goodness every afternoon. I’m a huge “ice cream” afficiando — be it gelato, sorbet or a Fudgesicle — so this is definitely not foreign territory to me at all. In fact, I once spent $22 on a simple ice cream cone in Italy, just because I had to have 11 flavors of gelato in one little dish.
So get your ice cream maker ready and put your chilling bowl in the freezer… (if you don’t have an ice cream maker, I HIGHLY recommend the Cuisinart 2-quart ice cream maker!) and I’ll be sharing a tried & true recipe with you every day this week!
