holiday in the m house: entryway

.
Christmas in our entryroom is an aglow in gold and bronze. We’ve tried our best to keep the room glowing with the orange wall accents, and slowly but surely we’re adding more to enhance the holidays in the room. This year, the ‘not so real tree’ is adorned in a cavalcade of last year’s 75% ornaments… and our new Bethlehem star tree topper.
.

..
The door is adorned with a fruity and bronze wreath… (another 75% off steal last year)…
..

.
… Mr. M convinced me that we needed to invest in our very own Dept. 56 Dicken’s Village piece (his parents have an amazing set-up back in PA of their own pieces on the holidays), so our first little house is on display on the entry table…
.

.
… the windows got dressed with some simple garlands and gold berries — if only our windows weren’t so big and fresh garlands weren’t so pricey…
.

.
… and a little bear from my Christmas teddy bear collection popped in as well…
.
Now I’ll just have to be on the lookout once again for orange/gold/bronze-y bargains to fill up the room next year! Perhaps we’ll have a fancy dining room table to dress next year as well!

Your tree and Christmas decor looks great! Where did you go Christmas shopping last year? I’m so amazed that many of the stores already have their Christmas stuff at 50% off. I’m tempted to buy them now, but wonder if they’ll be 75% off post Christmas.
