bouchon for everyone
On an ill-fated trip to try and buy the extremely popular Message-In-A-Cookie kit last night at Williams Sonoma, I came across something that I’d love to have ready to bake in a moment’s notice.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of tasting a fresh chocolate bouchon from the Bouchon Bakery (via Yountville, Vegas, or NYC)… then you don’t kno w how amazing a brownie can truly be. And now Williams Sonoma has literally bottled up the Chocolate Bouchon mix to make them that much easier to create!
Heck, they even have a Bouchon Mold to make the task that much more perfect!
And if you don’t want to splurge on the easy-to-make mix, then simply follow Thomas Keller’s recipe for the good stuff, as also found in his cookbook named (oh my goodness, will you ever guess???) Bouchon. I sense an extremely wonderful Valentine’s Day idea emerging from all of this loveliness…
What makes it different than a brownie? I have to say that I love chocolate and brownies, so I am willing to give it a shot :)
