they say it’s my (30th) birthday

Today, I turned 30. Oh boy. This decade already looks just a wee bit different than the last one… I wonder why? ;)

While the celebrations this year will be muted a bit (Tuesday birthdays aren’t nearly as fun as weekend birthdays!), I thought I’d share a few photos of birthdays past. Here are the even ones… which all happen to be magically stored on my laptop for easy reference. In fact, I got my first digital camera for my 22nd birthday… it fit in an Altoids case… man that was a super cool little camera! Now I carry around my giant dSLR… hmm…

24th = All-you-can-eat sushi fest in Beverly Hills

26th – dinner at Roy’s in Pebble Beach (also a “happy engagement” party!) with Roy actually in the kitchen ;)

28th – A scavenger hunt with mini golf and Indian casinos

And then we’re onto 2010… and all of our birthday photos will now have an extra little person in them… I think I like the idea of that!
