I braved the supercenter for a special treat

.

I’m not going to lie. Our local Wal-mart SuperCenter may be one of my least favorite places in the world. The parking lot is insanely designed, which leads to people driving insanely through there at all times of the day, so even if you’re not going to Wal-Mart, you yell at the Wal-mart shoppers that you’re dealing with. And I never seem to find “the thing” that I totally thought they’d have… so I walked 2 miles for no good reason and should have just stopped at Target instead.
.
So yeah… I pretty much avoid the place like the plague… but there was a problem this week that involved ice cream. Special ice cream that can only be purchased at Wal-mart. I’m speaking of the two flavors above: Breyers Grasshopper Pie and Vanilla Caramel Brownie. They’re plastered all over advertisements on TV, and when I discovered they were Wal-mart exclusives, I decided to brave the insanity and get them for a taste test. And you know what, I’m pretty glad I did.
.
I’m not going to lie and say my visit was anything pleasant, but they had the ice cream, it was super cheap, and Mr. M and I have enjoyed a nice dessert surprise for the past few nights. And I’ve moved past the grumbling stage just in case I need to go get refills later next week. Sometimes a little bit of discomfort is worth it in the end…

Is it the one next to Ikea? That parking lot is a nightmare. But the one in my town isn’t any better. I have to deal with rude people literally walking down the middle of the rows of the parking lot while I wait for them to get to their car. But damn, Walmart is CHEAP and I’m addicted.
