#reverb10 – day 6
December 6 – Make.
What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it?
(Author: Gretchen Rubin)
You know me. I like to make things. I’m a maker.
In fact, I try to make everything. It’s part of my character. I’d rather make something than buy something, even if it takes more time and costs more money. And if it saves me money, I compulsively HAVE to make it.
Crafting has taken a bit of a downturn, since the craft room is far from a “baby-safe” room on the weekends. But a little bit of time needs to be spent in there cleaning it up so I can create more.
Yesterday, I made some people disappear in a photo using Photoshop so that my parents could use it as a Christmas card. (Thank you content fill aware!) And I made some baby food. And a cocktail. I didn’t make dinner though because the pizza delivery man magically showed up at the door before I could make it to the market.
My next “must make” list item involves a crafting project from old holiday cards. I “must” do this before this Christmas arrives, if just to evade the procrastination fairy for another holiday season.
And next year… I need to keep on making stuff just like I always have.

i love that you made people disappear before making the cocktail!
As a fellow maker, I so get you… especially the compulsive, have-to-make-itness. Curious to see how your Holiday card project turns out! :)
