“This is” _______

The “This is ________” series of books by Miroslav Sasek are sweet reminders of how beautiful and truly precious a simple children’s book can be! Many of the books in the series have been reissued in the past few years by popular demand as well!

Along with just being a fun way to share the world with little ones, these would also make fabulous souvenirs from travels at home and abroad!

Oh my goodness!! I adore them! I love the art! It makes me want to do a travel themed kid’s/baby’s room for my (future, potential) children!!

I hadn’t heard about these before your post but am now convinced I NEED the Texas one. I agree with Steph – they’ would be adorable coffee table books. As always, great finds, Kim!!

For our one year wedding anniversary my husband and I went to san francisco. We picked up a ornament for our christmas tree (a new tradition we started on our honeymoon), and also This is San Francisco. We thought childrens books would be a cute way to commemorate our travels together as well as build our future kids library :)

I’ve never heard of these, but they are super cute! I need one for every place that J travels to since the kids are always wondering where he is. Do you think they have national labs in the rotation? ;)
