Last weekend, we grabbed Take Me Home Tonight from the local RedBox… and while I’ll leave you to judge where this movie falls on the “so bad it has to be sort of good?” meter… this video is by far the best remnant of the film if you are a child of the ‘80s.
I dare you to watch it along with someone and shout out the 80’s movies as they pop up!
[p.s. if you’re just generally confused after watching this, don’t worry. That simply means you’re young and beautiful and awesome and probably born after 1985]

Ok, so first, I have such and inappropriate crush on Topher Grace. Second…I knew every. single. movie.
Funny story…I was in college…so, yeah, uh…15 years ago, and my sister was a youth pastor. I was with them on a trip and somehow I referenced Daryl Hannah in Splash…and the kid I was talking to me and said, ‘what’? It was my first taste of just how fleeting pop culture is…so I was especially happy to see the reference in the film.
