elmo knows your child’s name

I blew Miss L’s mind the other night when I played this little doozy for her during our bedtime sing-a-long time.

Thanks to my lovely friend Janie, I downloaded that personalized song (and two little intro-talky snippets) for free and impressed my daughter to no end. Or maybe I’ve just put the fear in her that her Elmo doll now knows her name and will start talking to her at any minute (remember that scary stuffed animal phase of childhood? Let’s not go there!).

If you’d like to try and impress a young Elmo lover in your life, do the following:

Sing Along With Elmo

1. Visit https://www.justmemusic.com/redeem1/index1.php
2. Enter an Email address: [Use your spammy/fake email address if you feel the need (blah@blah.com)]
3. Enter Code: MYELMO
4. Select from a dropdown of pre-recorded names. Get three free MP3 songs (well… one song, 2 talking bits)

Disney Princess Tea Party Sing Along With Mickey, Minnie and Goofy Sing Along With The Wiggles

They also have albums from Mickey & Friends, The Wiggles and Disney Princesses. All saying your child’s name. It’s pretty spooky… but also pretty cool for the me-centric years of toddlerhood.

And if you want to order an actual soundtrack, use the code “ELMO35” and get 35% off your purchase.

Ah the wonders of technology and how it gets you “cool mom points!”
